Update-After School Programs, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Halifax
Dear Club families:
HRCE schools will be closed for the holiday season from December 21st until January 11th, 2021. In keeping with the Government of Nova Scotia’s decision to delay the re-opening of public schools to help reduce the risk of potential COVID-19 transmission after the holiday season, the Club will also delay the re-opening of our after school programs and Club sites to January 11th.
Our last after school program day before the holiday break will be Friday, December 18th, and we will reopen our Club doors on January 11th.
While we will not be open the week of January 4th, our staff will come to work for program planning and development, staff training, and to help perform a deep clean of all of our facilities.
Please note: while our in-Club programs will be closed when schools are closed, we are offering online after school programs on December 21, 22, and 23, and also during the week of January 4th. These virtual programs are free, an hour long, and a chance for your child to remain connected to the Club, our staff, and other Club kids during the school break!
