Summer Registration

2021 SUMMER DAY CAMP REGISTRATION

DETAILS AND REQUIRMENTS!

Summer Day Camp provide supervision and activities in a safe, supportive environment. Do you only need a week or a two of Day Camp? No problem! Parents have the convenience of registering by the week! Simply choose the week (s) you would like your child to attend! Children must be 5 yrs. of age by June 30, 2021 to be eligible to register for Summer 2021 day camps.

Current Active Member registration begins Mon March 22, 9:30 am

To be considered an current active member, children must have registered and participated in person programs between September 1, 2020- March 1, 2021.

Non-Active members/general public registration begins Wed March 24, 9:30 am

The BGCGH online registration is monitored to ensure all registration requirements are met and adhered to. Any non-eligible participant/s found to have registered before the eligible date and time indicated above will be RENDERED VOID, removed from all BGCGH services. Parent/guardian will be notified via email.

2021 Summer day camps, 8 weeks to be offered!

COST – $140.00 per week/per participant. 

Hours of operation – 8:30 am- 4:30 pm (all sites)

JULY DAY CAMPS

Week #1 July 5-9  – CREATIVE CAMPERS WEEK              

Week #2 July 12-16  – SUPER HEROS WEEK            

Week #3 July 19-23 – GAMES WEEK

Week # 4 July 26-30 – WATER WEEK

AUGUST DAY CAMPS

Week #5 August 3-6  – ADVENTURE WEEK

Week #6 August 9-13  – OLYMPICS WEEK      

Week #7 August 16-20 – SPIRIT WEEK        

Week #8 August 23-27 – MYSTERY WEEK

Important COVID-19 information and documents

To complete the registration process, it is mandatory for all parents/guardians to review and comply with the BGC of Greater Halifax COVID-19 Operating Plan . Parents/Guardians will be required to initial and agree to the terms at the time registration is completed online.

Our staff are qualified and trained in the following areas;

  • Child Development

  • Behavior Management

  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention

  • Peer Mediation/Conflict Resolution

  • HIGH FIVE 

  • First Aid and CPR

All staff are required to complete criminal and  vulnerable sector checks.
