What Are BGC Greater Halifax Summer Day Camps?

BGC Greater Halifax Clubs (BGCGH) offers summer day camps for children ages 5-12 across four locations in HRM. Kids can attend one week or the whole summer—registration is flexible and done week by week.

BGC Greater Halifax serves over 1000 children and youth annually across six club sites in Halifax and Dartmouth. Summer camps are one of our most popular programs, and spots fill fast.

Where Are the Camps Located?

Why BGC Summer Camp?

BGC Greater Halifax has been serving children and families in Dartmouth and Halifax for decades. Our camps provide a safe, inclusive, and affordable alternative to specialty camps, with the consistency of trained staff, established programming, and club communities that many of our campers have grown up in.

For many families in our communities, BGC camp is how their kids spend their summer—and we’re proud of that.
