Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a current member or in the After School Program to register?

No. Day Camp is open to anyone — you don’t need to be a current BGC member or After School participant to join.

Who can attend?

Children currently enrolled in Primary through Grade 6.

What are the hours?

8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There is no option for early drop-off or late pick-up.

How much does it cost?

$40 per participant, per day. March Break Camp is offered by the week only, at $200 per participant, per week.

Where do I register?

Through the online BGC registration site. When searching, use “Filter By: Site” and select your preferred location to find the right camp faster.

  • September 25, 2026 – Explorer Mission
  • October 23, 2026 – Nature Mission
  • November 20, 2026 – Innovation Mission
  • December 4, 2026 – Community Mission Series
  • December 21–23, 2026 – Winter Break Community Mission Series
  • March 5, 2027 – Leadership Mission
  • March 8–12, 2027 – March Break Camp (The Discovery Summit, week only)
  • April 2, 2027 – Global Citizen Mission
  • April 30, 2027 – Adventure Master Mission
When does registration close?

For all camps except Winter Break, registration closes at 4:30 p.m., five business days before the camp date (for example, registration for the September 25 camp closes September 18 at 4:30 p.m.). Winter Break Camp registration closes December 1 at 4:30 p.m.

What's the cancellation policy?

14 days’ written notice is required. Cancellation requests must be emailed to Lisa Reid, Administration Lead, at registration@bgcgh.ca.
