Our Mentorship in Medicine: Future Heart Surgeons program got some great recognition this month on Global News Morning Halifax. Founder and Dalhousie medical student Abigail Greek and BGC Director of Youth Programs, Madison Larin, sat down with Skye Bryden-Bloom to talk about how the program is opening doors for young people who might never otherwise picture themselves in a hospital, an operating room, or a medical school classroom. Built in partnership with the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine and BGC Greater Halifax, the Saturday series gives our members hands-on exposure to the people, tools, and decisions behind real healthcare careers.
