One of our East Dartmouth club kids is raising money to support hospital and health care workers during the pandemic! This is Alexander and his mom, Krista. Alexander likes cooking and baking when he's at the Club, and he's working on a recipe book called Alexander's Food Creations. Each day, Alexander and Krista try out a new recipe. Proceeds from recipe book sales will be donated to hospitals and healthcare workers via Canada Helps, which is currently hosting a COVID-19 Pandemic Response where donations are matched dollar-for-dollar by the Gore Mutual Foundation. For more information visit: www.canadahelps.org/en/donate-to-coronavirus-outbreak-response/
To reserve one of Alexander's Food Creations, pay what you can and order by emailing staytheblazeshome@protonmail.com. Great job, Alexander! ... See MoreSee Less

Dear Club families: we know this is a challenging time, as your kids are not in school and they're not in our Club! However, we'd like to offer you access to a couple of online learning resources. Squiggle Park is a literacy and reading focused program for kids in grades Primary to 2 that we use at the club and some of your children are already familiar with it. We would like to make this available to you at home. If your child is not already set up to play, please send a quick e-mail to mike.vautour@bgcgh.ca for your child's unique login info. Please include your child's name, grade and club site they attend. And Dreamscape is a free program for children in grades 3-6 and they can start playing right away! Again, just email Mike. Thank you! ... See MoreSee Less
